Acrylic Aquarium Lighting

Lighting is required for any aquarium, not only to bring your aquatic display to life with all its brilliant colors, but to mimic the natural light which is required for healthy plant, coral and fish growth.

Power compact lights are the most efficient way to light your aquarium and they provide the broadest spectrum of light wavelengths and color "temperature".

Tenecor offers standard lighting for both saltwater and freshwater fish tanks:

Our Saltwater lighting is the SunPaq retrofit kit or the Satellite power compact light fixtures by Current-USA.

Our freshwater light is the Coralife Aqualight.

Aqua Light Freshwater Power Compact Light

The SunPaq retrofit kit mounts to the underside of the canopy, while the Satellite and Aqualight sit on top of the tank.

In our Aquarium Package store you have your choice of a Saltwater or Fresh water lighting system. The lighting is included in the price of the aquarium package and it is not possible to remove or upgrade the lighting available with the aquarium package.

In the Build Your Own Aquarium store you may purchase the recommended lighting. If you wish to modify or upgrade the offered lighting you will need to contact a Tenecor sales representative at 602-437-4373. Also, if you wish to use a different lighting system, please call us with your specifications and we will customize the aquarium or furniture to your needs.
